Selection of mercenaries:

There are almost no other choices. You must choose defensive mercenary at the second act of the nightmare, with the holy freeze aura, to increase the safety.

In terms of equipment of mercenary, if lack of mana, use Insight which is very practical; if mana is not a problem, you can use the death reapers, the holy freeze aura together with the decrepify curse can make the surrounding monsters almost impossible to move!
