When to Complete Quest Rite Passage (Act 5 Quest 5, also called The Ancients Quest)?

If Quest Rite Passage is skipped in Normal and Nightmare difficulty because of glitched rush, it's advised to save the quest until high level. If 99 level is the goal, it's best to complete them after reaching level 98.

This quest gives 1.4 million experience in normal difficulty, 20 million in Nightmare difficulty and 40 million experience in Hell difficulty.

The numbers apply to the first kill (quest kill) only. Any kill after that gives only 1 experience.

Unlike killing other monsters in game, this experience gain is from quest. Experience Shrine, items such as Annihilus, Ondal's Wisdom do not affect experience gained. Number of players in game does not make any difference either.

It's also capped by one level. For example, if the character is 20.43 level (20 level and 43% experience gained at 20 level, or 57% experience away from next level), it won't get to higher than 21.43 level.

By saving both the quests in Normal and Nightmare difficulty, 21.4 million experience is saved, which is equal to about 334 Baal runs at 98 level, or 130 Baal runs at 97 level, or 67 Baal runs at 96 level. At 98 level, it may save several days to reach 99 level.
